My name is Peter
I am not a guru – yoga is my passion, which has become both a mission and a way to work off the karma of my old soul. My goal is to share what’s most valuable, bringing health and harmony into human life. With full commitment, I create a thoroughly developed hatha yoga program. I believe everyone deserves to discover themselves through yoga, fully tailored to their needs, abilities, and experience.
My approach to yoga
Yoga is a vast concept—a path toward perfect concentration, freeing the mind from fluctuations, and ultimately even liberation from samsara. I believe that an ethical lifestyle and meditation are far more important than performing acrobatic tricks. At the same time, I accept and appreciate my natural predispositions and choose to grow in what comes easily to me: hatha yoga—the physical dimension of yoga.
When it comes to teaching hatha yoga, my approach is likely different than you might expect—I’m not a butcher. I’m very gentle and careful, prioritizing safety, space for concentration, regeneration and balanced growth. I treat practice as an individual journey, so I offer tools for self-development rather than chiseling students’ bodies with a hammer and chisel. I hardly ever apply physical pressure in poses, and I guide students to stretch in a moderate degree—one that allows for a calm breath and a relaxed face.
What you see in my photos is simply an artistic form of inspiration and promotion. Many of these advanced postures are not even incorporated to my teaching program—I found them unnecessary.
My experience
I’ve been practicing yoga for over 10 years and teaching for 7. I studied at the world’s oldest yoga institute in Mumbai, where I had the opportunity to learn at the source. For three years, I ran two yoga studios, supporting hundreds of students on their journey.
I’ve developed body awareness since childhood, practicing acrobatics over a span of 20 years. I’ve also trained in dance, Muay Thai, aikido, tai chi, and climbing. For the past 12 years, I’ve been studying anatomy in depth, creating a 3D model of the skeletal and muscular systems — driven by a passion for understanding human movement biomechanics and with the intention of building an online yoga course.
Šilā Yog -my style and programme
My style is ambitious and physical, but gentle. It is generally calm and static, focused on enhancing concentration and giving the practice a traditional, meditative quality. The foundation of my program is a precisely structured sequence and a modernized construction of asanas that ensures both safety and effectiveness —designed to meet specific technical needs. I place particular emphasis on balancing strength and flexibility across all muscle groups. I draw from both traditional yoga and contemporary knowledge from the fields of sports and physiotherapy. I use modern techniques such as isometric muscle engagement, post-isometric relaxation during active stretching and mobility exercises.
The program is divided into three levels; the first level is suitable for everyone and consists only of simple, safe poses. I encourage the use of props (like straps and blocks) to help adapt the poses to individual needs. In many cases, I offer several variations of the same posture to allow for gradual progress.
The entire system is designed to guide practitioners step by step toward the most advanced poses—even those not formally included in the program.
